Who we are
Ricochet Tanks is a game by Crisper Games. It runs as a Discord Activity and in the browser at crispergames.com. "We" and "us" mean Crisper Games. This policy covers the game, this website and its API.
What we collect
When you sign in with Discord
We ask Discord for the identify permission and store your Discord user ID, username, display name and avatar. We never see your email address, password or messages.
Inside a Discord Activity we also ask for guilds, only to confirm which server the game is running in. For that server we store its ID, name, icon and how many battles were played there.
When you play
For each mission you play while signed in: the mission number, whether you won, kills, deaths, stars, play time and points. This powers the leaderboards and detects impossible scores.
When you vote or review
Your vote, or your review's name, rating and comment. To stop spam we also store a one-way, keyed hash of your IP address. We never store the IP address itself.
When you just browse
Nothing that identifies you is stored by us. Our host and the services below see standard request data (IP address, browser, pages visited) as part of serving the site.
How we use it
- Running the game, your sign-in session and the leaderboards.
- Showing reviews, vote counts and the servers that play.
- Stopping cheating, spam and abuse.
- Showing ads that keep the game free.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it except with the services listed below.
What's public
Leaderboards show your Discord display name, avatar and scores. Reviews show the name you entered. The Servers page shows the name and icon of servers that play, and any server can be hidden on request.
